Aerial Photojournalist | Video Editor | Remote Pilot

As an Aerial Photojournalist, I gather news stories utilizing electronic news gathering (ENG) helicopters. That means I operate a gyro-stabilized broadcast camera (SHOTOVER, GSS, CineFlex, etc.) while monitoring audio, microwave, and cellular transmission. While under the intense pressure of a live news environment, I also have to relay communication between the station and the pilot, and help navigate to active scenes. I respond to breaking news and other station assignments, diagnose issues with news gathering equipment, and assist an FAA Mechanics with broadcast equipment installs and maintenance.

I have over 1000 hours of experience with Shotover M1, CineFlex, GSS, and Troll Systems HD Microwave while flying in a helicopter. 🚁

Philadelphia:

My most notable work took place while I was serving the Philadelphia, PA market full time from 2021 to 2025. I was assigned to a helicopter that was shared between KYW-TV (CBS Philadelphia) and WTXF (FOX 29 Philadelphia).
